ART14 - Theatre of Extremes
ART14 – theatre of extremes – is an experimental theatre company; a 'school of thought'; a theatre lab; and a playground for human self-expression and self-empowerment. Based in Totnes, Devon, UK, founded and directed by Josephine Larsen, the company's mission is to keep human (as opposed to robotic) imagination alive and kicking against the machine of mass media and main-stream trends in an existential crisis.
​ART14's live stage performances are often cabaret in form - SURREAL SALOON, ABSURD BIRTH - but also include large scale community productions of Shakespeare and other classics. All productions are platforms for emerging local talent and positive social change; surreal, absurd, provocative, controversial, questioning the reality of all things, constantly evolving with the times.

Acting & Improvisation Courses
ART14 believes ALL humans are consummate actors.
Many are unaware of the power they hold within. ​​
Learning to 'act and improvise' is unquestionably a highly transformative LIFE SKILL. Designed for players (18yrs+), the ART14 courses are for those who are fascinated by the psychology of imagination, creativity, authenticity, presence, and growth as a human. We create the world we live in. No experience is needed, but a trial session, interview or audition may be required to make sure the courses and workshops are right for YOU!​
